Background, Training, & Philosophy
Kristy, AMFT | San Francisco
A naturally warm therapist who transitioned from a successful corporate career to becoming a therapist after realizing her capacity to help people in a deeper way.
Kristy is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who sees individuals, couples and teens in our practice.
Kristy specializes in grief, anxiety and supporting those who are looking to understand themselves and their relationship with themselves more deeply. Notably, she has spent time working in a hospice setting as a therapist.
The relationship with your therapist is one of the most curative factors in therapy (this has been validated in research several times over!) and while we can’t predict how you’ll feel of course, our hunch is that you’ll immediately sense Kristy’s warmth, safety and palpable empathic stance.
Kristy’s fees are sliding scale based and are based upon financial need.
